Make it easy: A premium, quiet robot vacuum built to Miele standards. If you love the brand, it won't disappoint. If you don't, there's better value elsewhere.

What we like

  • Four-stage cleaning system picks up fine dust and larger debris in a single pass
  • Whisper-quiet operation, noticeably quieter than any Roborock or iRobot
  • Build quality is outstanding (this thing feels like it'll last a decade)
  • 3D navigation recognizes and avoids furniture without bumping into everything

What could be better

  • At $850 with no self-emptying dock, you're paying a steep premium for the Miele name
  • Reviewers report the app is clunky and the mapping isn't as precise as competitors
  • Fewer smart home integrations than Roborock, iRobot, or Ecovacs

Best for

Our verdict

The Scout RX3 cleans well and is genuinely the quietest robot vacuum you can buy. The build quality is Miele-grade, which means it should run for years. But at $850 without self-emptying, no mopping, and a mediocre app, you're paying for the brand. A Roborock S8 Pro Ultra costs about the same and does significantly more.

Make it easy: A triangle-shaped robot vacuum that reaches into corners better than round ones. Hard to find in the US, but it works well if you can get it.

Make it easy: It mops your hard floors automatically. Pair it with a Roomba and your kitchen gets vacuumed then mopped without you doing anything.
