Make it easy: A triangle-shaped robot vacuum that reaches into corners better than round ones. Hard to find in the US, but it works well if you can get it.

What we like

  • Triangular shape genuinely reaches into corners and along edges where round robots leave dust
  • 3D camera navigation spots and avoids furniture and obstacles
  • Strong suction on both hard floors and carpet
  • Slim enough to fit under most sofas and beds

What could be better

  • Very limited availability in the US (primarily a European product)
  • No self-emptying dock, and the smaller dustbin fills up fast
  • At $649 for a vacuum-only robot, competitors offer much more for the money

Our verdict

The PUREi9.2's triangular design does what it promises: it gets into corners that round robots miss. But it's hard to recommend broadly. Limited US availability means finding one is a project in itself, and at $649 without a self-emptying dock, you can get a Roborock that does more for less. If corner cleaning is your top priority and you can track one down, it delivers.
